No worries, TikTok’s watch history feature allows you to easily access and rewatch videos you’ve previously viewed. But, unlike other social media platforms, TikTok’s watch history is tucked away in a less obvious spot. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find and view your TikTok watch history, so you can relive your favourite TikTok moments with just a few taps.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to view your watch history on TikTok:
Open the TikTok app and sign in to your account. Ensure your app is updated to version v35.1.0 or later.
Tap the Down Arrow in the top right corner to expand the settings. The example screenshots are below
Finally Tap Watch history from the options.
If you’re using an earlier version of TikTok, follow these steps to access your TikTok watch history:
Open the TikTok app and sign in to your account.
Tap the “Burger” button at the top right of the screen to expand the settings.
Tap the “Settings and Privacy” from the bottom options overlay.
Tap “Activity Center” from the “Settings and privacy” menu.
On the next screen, click on “Watch history“
Scroll through your watch history to see the videos you’ve previously watched. Screenshots are below:
Note: You can only view your watch history on the TikTok app, not on the website.
How to clear your TikTok watch history
Open the TikTok app and sign in to your account.
Tap the “Burger” button at the top right of the screen to expand the settings.
Tap the “Settings and Privacy” from the bottom options overlay.
Tap “Activity Center” from the “Settings and privacy” menu.
On the next screen, click on “Watch history“
Tap “Select” in the top right corner and then Tap “Select all watch history” to select all videos followed by Tapping “Delete” button. This will delete all videos from your Watch history.
Remember that clearing your watch history will remove all previously watched videos from your list.
