The process of transferring media between Android and iOS devices can be challenging due to the two different operating systems. While it is easy to transmit files between iOS to iOS and Android to Android but there is no standard way to directly transfer media between these two operating systems. In this article, we will discuss an easy way to transfer files and media directly between Android, iOS, and PC.
How to transfer files between iOs and Andriod
Install Zapya Application on both devices. Android users can download from Play Store (Zapya)and iOS users can download from App Store (Zapya)
Connect both devices to the same wifi network.
Click on the Transfer button with arrows, located in the middle at the bottom of the screen to open the radar search. The radar search will detect all available device names along with avatars. Find your device and click on it to connect. Once the connection is successful, you should see the avatars and names of both devices in the top left corner.
Finally, select the media you want to transfer and then click on Transfer All to transfer the files between the devices.
If Wi-Fi is not available, you can try connecting both devices to another phone’s hotspot and then repeat the entire process. The third phone will act as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Connect both devices (PC & iPhone) to the same wifi network.
Click on “Join Group” on your PC and search for the hotspot created by your iPhone. Alternatively, you can also click on “Create Hotspot Group” on the Zapya app on your PC and then scan the QR code using your iPhone’s camera from the “Scan” tab on the Radar screen. Please refer to the screenshot below.
Once you scan the QR code of the PC Zapya, a popup will appear on the iPhone screen. Click “OK” to proceed with the connection. Once connected, you can start transferring files between the PC and iPhone.
