Copyright Policy

1. We don't host any content

This Service does not upload, host, store, or archive any TikTok video or audio file. When you click a download button, the file is streamed on demand directly from the source content-delivery network, through our server, straight to your browser. Once the download finishes, nothing about the file itself remains on our server — only a log entry recording that a download of a given TikTok URL took place (see our Privacy Policy).

Because we do not store copies of any video, we are generally not in a position to "remove" a specific file from our systems — there is nothing stored to remove. If your content has been removed from TikTok itself but is still resolvable elsewhere, the most effective step is usually to pursue removal at the source or with TikTok directly.

2. Your responsibility as a user

Anyone using this Service is responsible for ensuring they have the right to download and use the content they request — for example, because it is their own content, they have the creator's permission, or their use otherwise qualifies as fair use/fair dealing under applicable law. See our Terms of Service.

3. Reporting a copyright concern

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on one's behalf) and believe this Service has been used to facilitate infringement of your work, you can send a notice to admin@skilltosky.com. To help us respond quickly, please include:

Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
The specific TikTok URL(s) involved;
Your contact information (name, email, and, if applicable, the organization you represent);
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf;
Your physical or electronic signature.

This follows the notice format used for takedown requests under laws such as the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and Australia's Copyright Act 1968, even though we are not a hosting provider in the traditional sense covered by those regimes. We review all good-faith reports.

4. What we can do

On receiving a valid complaint, we may, at our discretion:

Block the specific TikTok URL or account from being resolved by the Service;
Restrict or terminate access for users who repeatedly misuse the Service to infringe copyright;
Respond to you with the outcome of our review.

5. Counter-notice

If you believe a URL was blocked in error, you may contact us at the email above with an explanation, and we will review the matter in good faith.
