Need to crop a PDF to remove wide margins, scanner whitespace, or unwanted borders? Drag the crop box directly on the live preview, or type exact measurements in points, and the same trim is applied to every page. All processing happens locally in your browser — nothing is ever uploaded.
See exactly what will be removed before you download — drag any edge of the crop box directly on the rendered page.
Prefer precision? Type exact margin values in points for top, bottom, left and right.
One click to trim 5%, 10% or 15% off every edge — handy for removing scanner borders fast.
The crop box you set is applied identically to every page in the document.
Cropping only changes the visible page boundary. Text, fonts and vector graphics are completely untouched.
Everything runs locally in your browser using pdf-lib and pdf.js. Your file is never uploaded to any server.
The crop tool changes the page boundary (the MediaBox and CropBox), so trimmed-away areas are no longer visible or printed. Depending on the viewer used to later re-open the file, some advanced PDF editors can still reveal content outside the crop box, so do not rely on cropping alone for removing sensitive information — use Redact PDF for that instead.
This tool applies one crop box to the entire document in a single pass, which covers the vast majority of use cases (removing scanner borders, wide margins, etc). For page-specific cropping, split the PDF first, crop each part separately, then merge them back together.
Yes — the visible page size shrinks to match the crop box you set, since both the MediaBox and CropBox are updated together for consistent behaviour across PDF viewers.
