How to turn on Disappearing Messages to individual chats

1. Open the chat where you want to apply the setting. The chat can be an individual chat or group chat
2. Tap on the user contact name located at the top of the chat window.
3. Scroll down and then tap on Disappearing Messages
4. Select from the available options either 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days

The above will apply the disappearing messages setting to your chats. It's important to note that this feature only affects messages going forward and does not impact previously sent messages. The Disappearing Messages setting automatically deletes messages after the specified time period, providing additional privacy and security to your chats.

How to turn on Disappearing Messages to all chats at once

1. Tap on the Settings and then tap on Account
2. Next tap on Privacy
3. Then tap on Default Message Timer
4. Select the option that best suits your requirement either 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days

3. Select off from the options
